Search Hearings can be used for docket and calendar work when a probate hearing is expected. Request Probate Documents
iCourt is useful for public status and hearing information, but documents often require a courthouse kiosk or a clerk request. Elmore County's judicial records request form can be used for documents, certified documents, and FTR audio. The form may be returned to the Elmore County Courthouse or emailed to ElmoreRecordsRequest@elmore.idcourts.gov.
The form warns that a records request could take three business days depending on the type and location of the record. The requester must provide a phone number or email address so the custodian can give notice if more than three business days are needed. For exempt, sealed, or confidential records, the form asks for the reason and relationship to the case.

Guardianship and Conservatorship Forms
Guardianship and conservatorship matters are part of the probate-related magistrate workload, but they often involve living people rather than an estate. Idaho Court Assistance Office forms include guardianship and conservatorship categories. Minor guardianship forms can include petitions, notices, affidavits of service, consent forms, nomination by a minor age 14 or older, waivers, acceptances, orders, judgments, and letters.
Reporting forms include a Guardian's Annual Status Report, Guardian's Proposed Care Plan, Conservator's Inventory and Financial Plan, Conservator's Accounting, and Conservator's Accounting for Small Estates under $50,000. These records may contain sensitive personal, care, medical, or financial data, so public copies may be limited.

Guardian and Conservator Training
The Idaho Supreme Court requires proposed guardians and conservators to complete training before permanent letters issue. The research notes a $25 training fee collected by the county clerk under Idaho Code 31-3201G and ICAR 54. Certificates of completion must be filed with the county clerk.

Restricted Elmore Probate Records
Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32 governs public access to Idaho judicial records. Public access may include case summaries, dockets, calendars, orders, judgments, and many filed documents from open proceedings. Probate cases can still include restricted material, especially in guardianship, conservatorship, mental health, and minor-related records.
Elmore County's request process warns that sealed records may be denied, some records may be redacted, and older records may be incomplete due to age and retention limits. If a restricted probate record is requested, the requester may need to state the reason for access and the relationship to the case. The court decides whether access is allowed under the applicable rule, statute, or order.
